From Andersen’s Architectural Collection, the E-Series casement delivers energy efficiency, beauty and durability in a window you design yourself. Choose from ten interior wood species, more than fifty exterior colors and ten hardware finishes; add a power operator, Verilock® security sensors or a retractable insect screen. The wood frame is protected by a virtually maintenance-free aluminum exterior that resists water and stands up to North Florida sun and storms.

Every Andersen E-Series unit can be ordered with the glass package that fits its exposure. All options are ENERGY STAR® certified configurations; ask us about impact-rated glass for coastal wind zones.

Glass

SmartSun™ Glass
SmartSun™ GlassSmartSun™ glass gives you the benefits of Low-E glass, plus it helps shield your home from the sun’s heat by filtering out harmful UV rays. Ideal for: All Climates SmartSun™ with HeatLock Coating is also available on 100 Series windows. This prevents more heat from escaping your home but slightly reduces the visible light transmitted through the glass.
Low-E/Low-E4® Glass
Low-E/Low-E4® GlassLow-E Glass reflects heat in the summer and helps to retain interior heat in the winter. Low-E4® with HeatLock Coating is available on A-Series windows. This improves the U-Factor performance of the window but slightly reduces how much light comes through the glass.
Sun Glass
Sun GlassSun glass has excellent thermal performance. This glass has a subtle tint that blocks out more heat from the sun. Ideal for: Southern Climates
PassiveSun® Glass
PassiveSun® GlassIf you live in a cold climate, PassiveSun® glass allows the sun to heat your home. Ideal for: Northern Climates
Triple-Pane Glass
Triple-Pane GlassAn extra pane of glass helps keep more heat in and cold air out, making this our most energy-efficient glass option. Perfect for colder climates where more months of the year are spent heating the home. Ideal for: Northern Climates

HeatLock® TechnologyHeatLock® coating reflects heat that likes to escape your home through window glass. It can be added to most of Andersen’s glass options.

Safety GlassTempered safety glass is available on all products, and comes standard on all patio doors.

Blinds and shades applied to the interior of the sash create a triple-glazed window with built-in privacy.

System 3 Blinds & Shades

Add privacy and even greater energy efficiency with this low-maintenance blind or shade solution. Applied to the interior of the sash, the System 3 design creates a triple-glazed window for incredible energy efficiency. Our 5/8″ blinds and pleated shades are mounted to an extruded aluminum storm panel and applied to the interior of the sash. The removable storm panel is available in tan, gold, white, or optional wood-veneer.
