Replacement Entry Doors in North Florida
Your front door is the first thing guests see and one of the highest-return upgrades you can make. We remove and dispose of the old door, install a new pre-hung entry system from Andersen, Marvin, ProVia, Therma-Tru or Windsor, seal it for energy savings and make every final adjustment — so it looks right and closes right.

Entry door styles for every home
- Craftsman: decorative glass in the upper third with a thick dentil shelf above flat lower panels — a natural fit for cottage, bungalow and Prairie-style homes.
- Classic & Colonial: solid two- to six-panel doors inspired by Georgian design, right at home on farmhouse and traditional architecture.
- Old World: substantial doors with arched tops, speakeasy grilles and iron strap hinges for Mediterranean, European and French-country homes.
- Modern & Contemporary: minimalist slabs with clean geometric lines and full or offset glass inserts.
Door materials: wood, steel or fiberglass?
- Wood: the warmest, most customizable look. Highest cost and needs periodic refinishing, but scratches are easy to repair.
- Steel: the strongest and most affordable option — no warping, rot or pest damage, and more protection from forced entry.
- Fiberglass composite: the best all-rounder for Florida. Won’t rust or rot, resists dents, can be painted or stained, needs almost no maintenance and insulates better than wood or steel.
Choosing an energy-efficient door
Two numbers matter on the label: SHGC (how much of the sun’s heat gets through — in North Florida you want it low) and U-Factor (how well the door insulates — lower is better in any climate). Our product specialists will show you the ratings side by side so the door you love is also the door that keeps your cooling bills down.
Security that goes beyond a deadbolt
Most entry doors rely on a single latch and a deadbolt. We recommend multi-point locking systems that engage the frame at several points and hook around the latches, making the door far harder to kick or pry open. Add a steel or metal-clad slab if you want the highest level of protection.
Sliding Patio Doors
Sliding patio doors glide on tracks at the head and sill, so they need no swing room — ideal for rooms with limited space, and they can be built to open from the left or the right. Because a patio door is often the largest piece of glass in the house, we carry many brands so you can match style, budget and performance.

Why homeowners upgrade their patio door
- More natural light from full-height glass, even when the door is closed.
- Energy efficiency: double- or triple-pane insulated glass with low-E coatings that meet Florida energy codes and ENERGY STAR® ratings.
- Security: modern multi-point locks and reinforced frames without giving up the view.
- Low maintenance: finishes and hardware built to stand up to sun, salt air and daily use.
- Expert installation: we custom-measure every opening and install it ourselves.
Materials, colors and glass
- Frames: aluminum, thermally-broken aluminum, vinyl, fiberglass or aluminum-clad wood.
- Colors: anodized and painted finishes, powder-coated aluminum and pigmented vinyl.
- Glass: tuned for your exposure — impact-rated, tinted or high-performance low-E for a west-facing wall, standard low-E for a shaded yard.
Brands we install
Andersen, Pella, Marvin, Windsor, Fleetwood, Milgard and more — in two-, three- and four-panel configurations.
French Doors
French doors are hinged double doors with full-length glass panes that swing in or out rather than sliding. They flood a room with light, frame the view of a garden or patio, and add a classic architectural element that works both inside the home and as an exterior door.

Benefits of French doors
- Timeless, elegant look that elevates any room.
- Generous natural light and, when opened, excellent cross-ventilation.
- Works as an interior connector between rooms or as access to a patio or lanai.
- Defines spaces without closing them off.
No swing room? Consider a French-style sliding door
Not every home can spare the space a hinged door needs. Andersen’s A-Series and Pella’s Reserve™ French-style sliding patio doors give you the extra-wide stiles and rails of a true French door while operating as a slider — with fiberglass or clad-wood frames, insulated low-E glass and a full range of grid patterns (flat, sculpted, Craftsman, Legacy and Vintage).
Hardware and finishes
Handles are available in white, tan, clay, satin nickel, brushed chrome, oil-rubbed bronze and slate black, with an optional keyed exterior lock. Interior and exterior frame colors can be matched or contrasted to your trim.
What do French doors cost?
Every opening is different, but as a rule of thumb French-style sliding doors cost a little more than a standard slider and less than traditional hinged French doors. We quote in writing after measuring in your home.
Multi-Slide & Bi-Fold Doors
When a standard patio door isn’t big enough, multi-panel systems open an entire wall to the outdoors. Both styles are custom-built to your opening and available in aluminum, clad-wood and fiberglass.

Multi-slide doors
Multiple panels slide and stack neatly behind one another, opening to one side or splitting from the center. Because they run parallel to the wall, they never intrude into the room.
- Seamless indoor-outdoor transition and panoramic, unbroken views.
- Configure to open from one end, the center or both ends.
- Excellent insulation with quality materials and proper installation.
Bi-fold doors
Hinged panels fold concertina-style along a track, clearing almost the full width of the opening.
- Compact when open — perfect where swinging doors would block a path.
- Open a little for a breeze or all the way for a party.
- Available in many materials and finishes to suit any architecture.

Moving Glass Walls
A moving glass wall is the sliding-door alternative for an expansive patio, a great view, or a room that needs far more light. Panels are built to your custom size and glide, fold or disappear into a pocket, turning a wall into an opening.

Operating styles
- Bi-fold: panels fold and stack to one or both sides.
- Pocket: panels slide completely into the wall for a fully open span.
- Stacking: panels slide and stack behind a fixed panel.
Frames, colors and hardware
- Aluminum-clad wood: clear vertical-grain Douglas fir or dark bronze interiors; Frost, Bark, Cinnamon or Dark Bronze exteriors.
- Aluminum: white, tan, clear anodized, dark bronze anodized and more.
- Hardware: finishes matched to your windows.
Moving glass walls are a premium product, so we take extra care with structural review, measurement and installation. Ask us for a site visit and we’ll tell you honestly whether your opening is a good candidate.
